So yesterday I was in the library with Katelynn. We were studying for exams for our respective professional licenses. I started falling asleep. During this week I have not gotten much sleep and neither did I the night before. I'm a busy woman. I've got things to do!
My first thought as my eyes drooped, a natural reaction/past habit, was: Oh, I should eat something. Maybe it'll keep me awake.
The thought kind of woke me up and I scolded myself. This is what I did during college. Sleepy? Eat more! Didn't keep me awake but just kept me chubby!
Lately, I made it a goal to get at least 7 hours of sleep a night (I normally run off of 5-6 hours). So far, it's not working. I'll probaby have to make it a goal 100 times more before it finally sticks. Lately, studies have shown that one thing to do to help lose weight is to sleep more. They don't tell you how they came to this conclusion. I don't know if it's because it helps with hormones or something else. Logically, it makes sense. Sleep more --> Awake Less-->Need less "fuel" aka food. Duh.
Anways, random thought for the week. You fools don't read this anyways :)
