Big names:
=Bonobo- really checking this stuff out lately, Simon Green is the man (DLing his complete discog on Azureus)
=Ulrich Schnauss- can't say enough good stuff about this guy. Hugely uplifting music with cool beats.
=MIA- grabbing Kala right now. Loved Arular, this is shaping up well.
=Bogdan Raczynski- surprised I didn't claw up his stuff when I was hitting my Aphex Twin phase. Excellent IDM, plenty of hot beats, plenty of thoughtful listening, and everything in between. Check out "goodfellas" on his album "Alright!"
=Murcof- Excellent ambient/orchestral. Not too cerebral a la "Death Ambience", with potential for passive/active listening.
=Freezepop- Fun music. Very indie electronica, but usually upbeat and enjoyable to listen to.
=Giorgio Moroder- Doesn't need me to give props, the father of club house. Collaborator in the Neverending Story OST, collabo w/ Donna Summer on I Feel Love, the first club song EVAR. Apparently, Brian Eno heard it, and burst into some guy (Byrne?)'s studio, claiming that he had just heard the future of club music. Boosh.
