i have never been in a physical fight in my life.
i mean in kindergarten i kicked this guy who later became my best friend in the balls.
but i was 6 and we were play fighting.
and in 7th grade i smacked some kid in the back of the head for calling me a cracker, which lead to a bitch slapping over my ear which would result in pointless 1 day suspension.
but really, ive never been in a fight. in fact save for the afforementioned incidents, ive always found a way to resolve my conflicts without violence.
for that matter, in all the "fights" ive ever been in, i never saw blood spilt, be it my own or another man's.
that is until i was 22, 1 month, and 26 days old. and that man was my father.
you always hurt the ones you love.
i hope i never have another morning like this again.
