On getting a dog, and Eating a turkey... or.. My Week In One Post.

It occurs to me that I am getting a dog. And by "I", I am of course refering to my sister. By dog, I mean puppy. We went to look at the puppies on Friday and Saturday, finally deciding on a brown toy poodle named Fozzy (as in, "Wocka Wocka"). So there you have it. We are getting a puppy. It's going to be ready to leave its mother in two weeks, just in time for my mom's homecoming. Personally I wonder if its too soon for that, Fergie just died, but the puppies are adorable, and about as different from Fergie as they could be.

Anyway. I'm back at the dorms now, cleaning and going crazy. Big surprise. Thanksgiving was, interesting at least. Wednessday I saw rent with Alice, Sabrina, and Baby Grace, from the cast of Hair. Thursday I had dinner with my brother (sort of) in law's family. It was nice. The food was good, the company was pleasant, but I couldn't help but feel a little out of place. After dinner we went to see Harry Potter. It was, by far, the best visually of all the films thus far. In terms of adaption, however, I was a little disapointed. Entire characters were left out, and there were snags left undeveloped. Ah well, a seven hundred page book in under three hours is quite a challange. Well done to director three of the series.

Friday was pretty uneventful, I believe I've already explained the issues with the first puppy place. It reeked and not just of feces, but of shoddy animal treatment. Friday night was spent at Aarons house with Chris, Sabrina, and Rachel. It was fun, but I didn't sleep very well.

Saturday was another day of nothing, the two high points being morning coffee with Sabrina, and seeing/picking out Fozzy in the evening.

Today was fun though, we went cross country skiing, followed by the remake of "Posiedon Adventure" and some food. Then we had to take John to the airport, after which Margaret and I went to Al's diner for burgers and the best fries I've had in a long time.

Such was my weekend. Now, though, I'm jsut tired and a little sad that it's over. Ah well, Christmas in two weeks.
