Oh, no, but thank you! I've had a DW for like a year--I actually have invite codes myself, if anyone needs them--I've just never used it :D

When you're at someone else's DW, you can basically do two things (except tracking and whatnot):

Grant Access - they can now read your f-locked entries
Subscribe - their entries appear on your reading list (dependent on them granting you access in some cases)

The whole circle thing is to differentiate it from the friending at LiveJournal. The purpose is to split it, so you don't have to grant access to f-locked entries to people just because you want to see their entries on your f-list. Ahem.

When I backed everything up on DW it took like. 2 weeks. SERIOUSLY 2 WEEKS. For it to all upload and save over there. IDK if it will take that long for you since I did mine during the OH NOES THE RUSSIANS ARE TAKING US DOWN time period but just warning youuuuuuu.
