I said I would do this, and so here I am, doing it.

Alright, folks. I am nursing The Little Hangover That Could, and it is a persistent little bitch, and I forgot about a big bang fic that's due in two days lolol, and so I am a little strung out. And I thought, what better way to cheer myself up then bring AU!Holmes and Watson out to play ( Read more... )

Holmes - the song he'd most want to play on the violin for Watson. Also, if his breakthrough on the blackboard could help his mother, or if that's still years away.

Watson - how he imagines his grandfather and Holmes would have gotten along. Also, tell me more of what Holmes's tattoo looks like in action. Plus, yes, tell me tales of sick-with-the-flu Holmes.

Unbearable hotasses, these boys!

Holmes insists that he gets to answer first: gyzym June 12 2010, 19:39:15 UTC
I'll be honest; I'm still so fucking relieved to be able to play the violin that I almost don't care what I'm playing. Oh, god, that's so not true--there are things I want to play him and kind of can't, you know? Because if they suck I'll know and it'll make me crazy even though he probably won't notice because he is, you know, I love him and everything but really he's kind of musically retarded. I think his knowledge of classical is limited to like...Vivaldi. Not that I have any problem with the guy, but seriously? I'm working on him, he's better than he once was, but it's not like he's a critic. And he's great, you know, he says he loves everything I play, says I'm great at it. Some days I even believe him--he's a shit liar, so I think I'd know if he was just being nice. I think ( ... )

like...Vivaldi HAHAHAHA, Holmes, you little bitch, I love you to pieces.

But this whole thing just made me say, oh, honey, I'm so glad you've got Watson to take care of you.

Annnnd Watson's turn: gyzym June 12 2010, 19:57:43 UTC
My grandfather would have hated Holmes.

Well, I guess that's not exactly true. My grandfather would have hated any man I loved; that's why I never came out to him. He was a great man, he raised me and my brother as best he knew how, he loved us and we loved him, but he was a total fucking homophobe, poor guy. Took that with him to his grave. He's probably rolling over in it now, actually.

But I don't know. I think if he'd met Holmes without any idea of what he was to me, he'd have found him entertaining. Holmes is entertaining, that's just the truth. And my grandfather was really big on smart, and there's no denying that Holmes is brilliant--crazy, yeah, but brilliant too. So, I, uh. I'm actually kind of picturing the kind of trouble they could have gotten into. My grandfather was pretty spry for 87, and he was an electric engineer for most of his life. My guess is they would gotten along famously for an hour and then screamed over who was to blame when they burned shit down ( ... )

The smoke kinda ripples when he moves his hips, which is entertaining. Oh, Watson, you have the grand gift of understatement. That sounds remarkable.

I know it's entirely my own fault for asking these particular questions, but these answers make me want to just hug both of the boys, wrap them in blankets, and let them cuddle. Even if Holmes would give me the smuggest smile in the universe once he realized that I'd done exactly what he'd been angling for all along.

p.s. - Holmes, if you can stop smirking at me for one minute (yes, like in that tie picture), kindly admit that you replacing Watson's apples with bananas has very little to do with electrolytes and more to do with the visual of Watson's lips around a banana. I'm totally on to you.
