Weekend update
- Like ladysprite says, "The best thing about 98-degree days is that they make 80-degree days feel remarkably, deliciously perfect." Way warm still, and I got totally flattened by a mere 1.5-mile B-route, and no one got their big cathartic storm on - but overall a distinct improvement.
- Noted on that walk: more and blockier roadblocks across the bottom of the footbridge, also a STOP sign. Have people really been trying to drive up that?!
- And going out in the weather and seeing the outside world: while the yellow daylilies certainly have been seriously taken out by something - and I do blame the bunny rabbits - the orange and red lilies have flourished (if a little wilted by now).
- Buffy marathon on Syfy! "That's a big rock. I'll have to tell my friends, none of them have a rock this big."
- Later: And O My pop-culture Goodness, the trailer for Legend of Korra, Season 2! Not just the promise (or at least, prospective) of the art and the writing, but the sophistication of the concept and the pitch are just jaw-dropping - plus a return of Wan Shi Tong. (Sadly, "sophistication" of concept includes here entirely music, no words.)
