Weekend miscellany
Took a constitutional this afternoon: there's still patches of snow here and there, not to mention the pile at the end of the driveway, but on the whole the snow is mostly gone from the neighborhood. Only a few of the very earliest buds have started to show the tiniest tips of green.
Saw Rise of the Guardians last night. Owes a tremendous debt to the Diskworld in general (and Hogfather in particular), and has huge holes and unanswered questions, but a pleasant way to pass the evening if you can disengage critical thinking skills.
Props to 61 across in today's Globe Magazine crossword! NPR show about Iceland's parliament: "Althing Considered"!
