Down to UNH, to fetch home B and
calygrey's Heir for the three-day weekend. I thought the traffic down was heavy (12-mile backup for the I-84 exit on the Pike), and thought 395 on the way back was fine, until everything came to a dead stop 2 miles before 495. The Heir helped guide us to Bolton by back ways through Hudson, but many many others were doing the same; at least we kept moving. 7.5 hours door-to-door, of which less than .5 was collecting kids at UNH. I gather the dreadful traffic was all over the region, not just that one interchange. Damn' leaf-peepers.
Happy Anniversary, heavy on the wine and liquor.
