Wednesday miscellanea
Since we started giving L antibiotic eardrops for his ear infection, he's become quite deaf. I remember having similar problems a year or so ago. Hopefully he too will get better as soon as the treatment stops. In the meantime, it's harder than ever to get him to move out of the way.
Quinnipiac has finally contacted B, to tell her she's wait-listed. Her rant was described as "heart-rending" ("This relationship is supposed to be a two-way street. I'm sorry, Q, but I can't wait for you to make up your mind, I have to move on with my own life"), mine was more "vindictive" ("Screw you, Q, we have better things to do, better places to spend our money"). Either way, we've been able to rule out one choice.
I believe that's the most I have ever paid for a tank of gas. OTOH, I believe I'll be saying that again. Soon.
