whether its in a dream or it's reality, you are my prince charming.
wrote my first ever bbomb/oc story sobs. this sucks though. T_T

Minhyuk sighed for the fifth time, annoyed, because the only thing he could hear in the room was the sound of the mouse being clicked furiously.

Soori started whining suddenly and her hands were now off the mouse, pulling her hair strands off her scalp, feet stomping on the ground. "This isn't working, goddamn it!! I don't wanna do this anymore," she cried, her shoulders sagging under an invisible weight as she dropped her hands and stared helplessly at the screen of her laptop.

With another sigh, Minhyuk stood up and walked towards Soori. Putting both his hands on the girl's shoulder, he leaned in a little, his ear against the girl's ear, and asked, "What's the matter? What are you doing?"

Soori pouted. "I'm trying to make a game using this stupid blender program. Ugh. It won't work. Professor Kang said I do better than the others, but it feels like he's just giving me false hopes! That bald goat," she groaned, crossing her arms.

Minhyuk laughed. "You just need inspiration, baby," he said before placing a quick kiss on Soori’s right temple. "Maybe we need to go out on a date today?"

"Today?" Soori looked up at Minhyuk. "But it's hot outside..."

"Then let's eat in a restaurant! Or stroll in the mall and... maybe watch a movie! We've never watched movies before except when you're at our dorm - and you usually just talk with Jiho through the movie." Minhyuk took her left hand and pulled her up from the seat. "C'mon, take a bath already and get changed. I’ll turn the laptop off for you. Wear something comfortable not too sexy, kay?"

"But... Oppa... my homeworks..." she wasn't able to speak anymore when Minhyuk threw a towel on her face. She didn’t have money at the moment because she paid for her tuition fee. She also had homeworks due on Monday and she couldn't finish them all in one day. But since it's Minhyuk and she couldn't say no to her boyfriend, with a sigh, she smiled and made her way towards the bathroom.

“I’m so gonna regret procrastinating... oh well,” she sighed, closing the door behind her back. “It’s gonna be okay, with Minhyuk,” she chuckled before taking her clothes off and stepping into the tub.

She was done preparing in thirty-five minutes, dressed in a blue t-shirt, white shorts and chucks. She tied her hair in a bun, but Minhyuk insisted she let it loose (but of course, she wouldn't because it's hot outside). She put on a little powder, sprayed perfume, and then faced Minhyuk who was smiling sweetly at her while watching.

"Let's go?" she asked.

"Aren't you going to bring anything with you? Bag? Perfume, comb, hanky...?"

"Ah, right," she said to herself, facepalming herself before walking towards the wall where a small blue shoulder bag was hanging.

Minhyuk laughed. Soori wasn’t really the type of girl to bring comb or perfume with her when going out, and Minhyuk has always been the one to remind her of such things because for heaven’s sake, she’s a girl. Not to mention she’s got a boyfriend.

Soori pulled a handkerchief out from one of the drawers in her closet and then pushed it deep in her pocket. Then she walked back to her desk and started stuffing her bag with anything that’s on the desk her eyes could see, compact powder, comb, purse, ball pen... Minhyuk laughed.

"I'm done!' she chirped, turning around like a soldier.

Minhyuk stood up, walked to his girlfriend and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. "You don’t have to bring your wallet with you though, I’m going to pay for everything today," he said to her as they walked out of Soori's room.

"I'll make it up to you next time we go out," she replied.

Minhyuk locked the door and took Soori's left hand, intertwining it with his. "I'll look forward to that," he chuckled.

"I just have to pay the rest of my tuition fee. Once it’s all done, I'll treat you to the most expensive restaurant!" she laughed.

You don’t really need to, but if you insist..." Minhyuk chuckled.

They first bought tickets for the movie. Minhyuk knew Soori still had assignments to do so he chose the 3:30 PM showing. Since there's three more hours before the movie starts, the couple decided to eat lunch first and then walk around the mall. They ate at a burger restaurant and then strolled in the department store, where Soori dragged Minhyuk everywhere.

“Wow,” Soori said in awe as she walked slowly towards a red dress.

"You want that?" Minhyuk asked.

“No, I hate dresses, don’t you remember?” she said, poker faced. Then she started walking to the next section.

“Whatever, Miss,” he rolled his eyes and pulled Soori by a hand. They stood in front of the dress again. “You like it, don’t you?”

Soori sighed and then nodded. "But I don't have money to buy this because look," she said, showing Minhyuk the price tag. "Such a pretty dress... with a pretty price," she groaned and pulled Minhyuk somewhere else.

"Why don't we buy that one? You said you like it.”

"I said I don't have money," Soori said almost to herself as she looked through the set of Disney printed t-shirts.

"I'll pay for it," Minhyuk said. “In one condition,” he added quickly.

Soori’s ears moved like those of dogs hearing something. She faced Minhyuk and asked, “What is it?”

Minhyuk laughed. “You’re allowed to wear it only when I’m with you.”

Soori rolled her eyes. “Such a possessive boyfriend,” she remarked before turning away, a smile on her lips.

Minhyuk laughed once more before wrapping his arms around her waist. “So what? Take it or leave it?”

Soori pretended she was thinking for a while and then said, “Leave it!” She laughed and then pulled Minhyuk out of the department store.

They were almost outside the said place when Minhyuk said he needed to use the bathroom. So, he went back inside the department store quickly and left Soori outside,, looking at the kiddie shirts that were on display. She thought of what she was going to buy for her future son or daughter, of what cartoon shows she would love to watch. Near her was also the kiddie accessories section where colorful headbands, earrings, necklaces, etc are on display. She was about to pick one when Minhyuk came back, looking very exhausted.

She raised an eyebrow at her boyfriend who was holding on his knees, panting. "Why do you look like you just ran around? Did you get lost? Didn’t you find the comfort rooms?”

Minhyuk shook his head and then gave Soori two thumbs up. Swallowing, he straightened up and took Soori’s right hand. “Let’s go? The movie’s about to start,” he said as he pulled her out of the store.

Minhyuk ended up eating all the popcorn and drinking the large juice because Soori kept crying over the movie. Minhyuk didn’t know what’s so sad about it because the leading man just told the girl that he was going to stay in America for a few years. The female lead started crying… and so did Soori.

When the movie was done, Minhyuk decided they eat in ‘Ice Cream All You Can’ first before going home. Soori didn’t stop talking about the movie and about how sweet the guy was for choosing the girl over his career. Minhyuk said he could do the same, but not right now, which somehow made Soori a little dejected (but she soon forgot about it when Minhyuk said she could have her third round of ice cream).

Minhyuk walked her home and even offered help in doing her assignments. Soori rejected the offer though, because she knew Minhyuk needed to get home early too and take a rest.

Minhyuk smiled as he placed a kiss on Soori’s forehead. “Don’t get tired so much, okay?” he reminded her.

“Mm,” she nodded once. “Same to you,” she added.

“I love you.” Minhyuk said before placing a kiss on her lips. "Good night," he smiled and then started leaving.

Soori smiled. “I love you more!”

Later that night,

Ding dong!

Soori crinkled her eyebrows, somehow annoyed because of being interrupted while doing her homework. She was now done doing her second homework, but there are three more to go, and a visitor was the least thing she wanted to have right now. When she opened the door, there was no one outside but two white boxes on the floor. She looked around first, wondering who could have left them, before picking them up and slamming the door close (in excitement, because she saw her name written on one of the boxes). She sat on the couch and then opened the smaller box first. It was a pair of stilettos.

Minhyuk automatically entered her mind.

Then she turned to the bigger box, her heart beating fast. She took the box, placed it carefully on her lap, and then slowly opened it, revealing the red dress she saw earlier in the mall. She took the dress out, mouth open in awe as she stared at it.

“Minhyuk…” she muttered, tears welling at the sides of her eyes.

There was a note under the dress which she carefully picked up and read out loud. “The prettiest dress and pair of heels for the most beautiful princess in the whole wide world! I love you! <3

P.S. You have to wear this only when I’m with you. Understand? ㅋㅋㅋ~”

Soori smiled, hugging the note. “I love you too, Minhyuk oppa.”

“Soori, wake up!” Soori’s Mom called just when her eyes opened.

Yawning, she sat up and stretched her hands above. Then she looked at the wall in front of her, smiling. “Good morning, Infinite! Good morning, Block B! Minhyuk, I just had a wonderful dream with you in it,” she chuckled.
