Well, Happy April Fools Day to you all.
Today I drove up to Duncan to contest a traffic ticket from last October, when I allegedly ran a yellow light. However, after a two-and a half hour ordeal, the judge found that he couldn't prove beyond a reasonable doubt that I was guilty, so the case was dismissed. It wasn't too bad, the officers were nice, and although the judge said that this certainly did not mean that I was exonerated, I came out feeling vindicated. Plus I avoided becoming $169 dollars poorer.
Productive day all in all, for that matter. I stopped by Duncan Pawn and purchased a copy of Dragon Warrior for $5, that I may sell to Flavour, or may just decide to keep. Incidentally, Flavour said that they would happily purchase all of the old Nintendo games I acquired last summer, tested or not, and as there are more than 50 there, I stand to make a healthy profit.
I stopped by the Malahat Auto Wreckers on the way home and purchased a new side view mirror to replace the one that had been smashed off by some errant motorist, and easily installed it when I returned home. I've been quite productive when it comes to the list, today. I guess I'll go eat some lunch to celebrate.
Finally, Happy one-year anniversary, Jennifer. I love you very much. (And have accordingly purchased a nice present.)
