Heartbroken!
I've been tearing up all day since finding out about this mare this morning. She looks familiar, doesn't she? She is a saddlebred mare currently at the Camelot Horse Auction in NJ. I bet she has similar bloodlines to my Treasure; I've noticed that Ch. Wing Commander descendents retain his body type, coloring, and look. They are easy to spot. I've called and inquired about her, but they didn't have any other info except that she had come there from ANOTHER auction---the infamous New Holland Auction in PA.
This is her last stop. If no one buys her, she'll get shipped up to slaughter in Canada.
I can't bear the thought of this happening!!! I asked her purchas price---$556.00. I'm on the verge of whipping out my credit card but, there's shipping costs....and where would she stay? I can't afford to board another horse!
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions???
