H2O no go

Alright.  So this is the second time this week the apartment complex has shut off my water due to water main problems.  Typically my water gets shut off randomly without notice about twice a month.  This has made me realize two things while I was microwaving ice cubes to make coffee:

1.  I never realized how important water is, and I can't do anything without it.
2.  Why am I paying my water bills to have it randomly shut off all the time?
