It was an unbelieving analogy. Reading on basic information about pearls, i never thought i could parallel it with the sun sign.
parallels between the sun sign, CANCER and sea PEARL-

Sea pearl is nature-cultured as opposed to artificially created on earth.
Cancerians are water bodies and so are the natural pearls. To mention few of the characteristics of the sea pearl with the characteristics of cancerians-

sea pearls are of organic in origin and nature and are, thus, liabale to easy destruction unlike harder gemstones found in the earth;
cancerians are emotional in their true nature and are, thus, liable to mood swings making them vulnerable unlike other earthy bodies

being soft they crack under extreme climate, scratch if rubbed against hard surface and materials, even melt under some conditions;
being vulnerable makes cancerians soft at heart and are severely affected by extreme conditions of living and are left hurt even by small things, but melt in extra care and love

perfumes, hairsprays, paints and powerful toxins can ruin the shine and lustre of the pearl forever of a sea pearl;
the artificial environment leaves a cancerian always irritated and its gentle caring nature is covered by rude behaviour forever. the selfless loving quality of a cancerian lies buried deep in its heart

store sea pearls in soft cotton box;
nurture a cancerian with utmost comfort and care

pearls are usually strung on thread, so ensure your necklace is not shredding through and check if it needs restringing everytime you wear it;
cancerians are usually led by mood swings, so ensure that it is comforted by care every time you talk to it

string your pearls with a knot after every pearl, to prevent from scattering should the thread break;
assure your cancerian that you love it the most and even in extreme conditions keep them saying that to save it from shattering under disbelief and stress

and cancerians lovvvvve pearlsssssssss

well well, i too am a cancerian ;-) hehe
