I'm happier than I've been in a very very long time--for the first time in months I feel free! I don't have to work, I don't have to go to school--all my profs can kiss my ass!!!!!

The world is good again: I DON'T HAVE A DAMN THING TO DO! God this feels good. No more deadlines, no more feeling guilty for taking a little time off, no more feeling as if I have to please anyone, to live up to any kind of expectations. I'm free.

No WAY IN HELL Am I ever going to go for my Master's degree. Not if I get this stressed out over my bachelor's. Fuck that shit!!! Not unless they pay me loads and loads of cash. Then I might consider it. Na!

I love Christmas--Have since I was a little girl. I went christmas shopping with my mom today, and we had a great time--we even each bought cheesy x-mas music cds to listen to in the car while driving around town. I love my mom. She has no sense of taste or sophistication, but she doesn't care! :) She sang right along with the Beach Boys as they did Blue Christmas and We Three Kings. She tried on a pair of "Crocs" in Dillard's with fuzzy blue socks on! Didn't buy the shoes, but bought three more pairs of fuzzy socks, in neon pink, purple, and yellow. lol She's great.
I've just gotten into a couple of series of books that are incredibly good. I was an idiot for not picking them up before, a few of my friends are reading them, but I've just been too busy to give a damn. And while my friends aren't necessarily up on the latest philosophical bullshit, they DO sometimes have good taste in fiction. Every once in a while, I just need to learn to pull the stick of out my own ass!
In other words, I've finally stopped taking myself so damn seriously. :)
