Wendy Wasserstein passed away. What more is there to say. I will live for her today. I hope the passion that she instills will stay.

Like the recent passing of August Wison, her passing is a great loss to theatre. And like Wilson, she is important because she truly gave voice to an unheard section segment of the population. I didn't always love her plays, but I loved what she stood for and what she meant to the profession.

I'm especially moved that she instituded a program to give high school kids access to theatre.
