[Text | Filter: Winding Way]

Well, at least there's no snow on the ground right now... but this is still way too cold for summer. If anyone needs me, I'm going to be hiding out in my room for a while. You know, where it's warm.

In the meantime, maybe someone can help me figure a few things out with my journal?

i like it hot, silver and blue, no snow means no snow monkeys, learning something new, * format: text, can we go back to the desert now, technical difficulties, * filter: winding way, look on the bright side

Are you sure it's safe to just press buttons at random like that?

No! These things shouldn't be able to explode! ... should they?

Come to think of it, I'm not sure of all the things that these journals can do. I guess it couldn't hurt to ➔❤❀'♂❋☱☪☯ ❸♘▓╥ ぎんとき ※ℵℰ༒۞ ಠಠ ♪✥♒○❣

I'm never touching that button again.

What kind of things do you want to figure out?

Lots of things! I haven't even figured out how to use the drawing program on this, and I heard there's some kind of way you can get through filters...

Oh my! I never pegged you as the hacking sort! What's under filters is content not intended for you if you can't see them. Surely you don't intend to invade others' privacy?

The drawing tool, is quite a fiddly thing. Personally I prefer typing in coordinates to draw lines, but you can use the arrow keys if you're less mathmatically inclined.

Well, obviously not. But I can't deny I'm a little curious sometimes, especially when there's little else to do besides fuss around with the journals and try to stay warm.

Um... yeah, I don't know much besides the basics about math. Guess I'll have to learn to use the arrow keys.

I totally sympathize. Got any winter wear on you?

No, sorry. I didn't think I'd have to worry about it for a few more months! Sophie's offered to make some warmer clothes for people who need them, though, so you should probably ask her.

Sophie, hmm? I'm still very new, so...

Oh, but I was asking because if we're the same size, I could lend you some stuff.

Sophie's our resident dressmaker. She's talented and very nice.

Oh, really? I would appreciate that! Some of the guys have offered to lend me some warmer cltohes, but I think I look a little odd in men's clothing. Not bad, but odd.

Yup! No snow means it's not wet, which is really good news!

I think my joints are still going to freeze, though. I've never been in such cold weather before!

Would you like some company?

It must be hard being made out of wood. I'll take goosebumps over swelling joints any day.

Well, I'm not exactly at my most entertaining right now, since I'm just huddled under my sheets and playing with this journal. If you'd like to stop by, though, feel free.

Well . . . it has its advantages and disadvantages. Some flesh people get joint swelling too, or so I've heard, and at least mine will go away again once I dry out. Plus I never have to bathe or worry about sweating or . . . well, or a lot of things. So it has its challenges and its unpleasant aspects, but really not any more or differently, I think, than other people.

Heh, that's okay. We could sit and talk and tell stories, if you'd like. I could tell you the stories of some of the plays my siblings and I used to put on. If it's all right, then, I'm on my way. Thanks!
