ariadneelda recommended this to me recently when, having an empty "to read" folder, I asked for suggestions, including pairings I normally wouldn't want to read. This pairing isn't something I'm particularly averse to, but not something I'd have thought to seek out - but I like Sirius and Draco separately anyway, so maybe it's a bit surprising I haven't tried this pairing yet.

Interesting twist on forced bonding here.

Not that Sirius's own parents weren't... but then they were second cousins, and I think Sirius and Draco are first cousins once removed, which is closer? (man, I can never get this straight. My own family just isn't this complicated)

Oh, and first cousins once removed is closer than second cousins. If Sirius had children, those children would be Draco's second cousins. :-)

This is so hot! I love your Draco, he feels very ic and totally a continuation of the Draco in the books! Cant wait to find out how Harry plays into all of this.
