I wasn't insulted, only frustrated. It's certainly not your fault if you're not familiar with D/s! And as you said, most D/s fics do start when the relationship is already established, which is unfortunate.

Hmm, I think I might know where the misunderstanding here is. As I stated in the header, this fic depicts sexual roleplay - in other words, the men are in an established relationship, and they decided to run this fantasy scene to spice up their sex a little.

Because I assumed that everybody knows what roleplay entails - which maybe I shouldn't have - I didn't explicitly explain in the fic that they planned the entire scene out beforehand. In other words, Draco knew everything that was going to happen from the very beginning. In fact, in my mind, this scene was his idea. So they didn't have to ask him if he was okay with it because they had already talked about it together. Make sense?

Consensual roleplay is always planned out to some degree. It might not be detailed, but the participants involved always know generally what to expect. In addition, Draco - like most subs - has a safeword that he can use at any time to end a scene if it's getting to be too much for him.

Yes, that does clear things up to a very sparkly degree. ;D

I do know what role play is, but I didn't read that part since I was a bit excited to read the piece and skipped it. x_x

I know of a few stories that builds up to the D/s relationship, but none of them are in the HP fandom, all of them are from the Naruto fandom(though I haven't read any stories from this fandom for some months now). The stories were well written, but I never finished them.

Lol that's why I was a little confused until I read this comment. I forgot to read the warnings before hand.

At the part when Draco was thinking that he couldn't pretend to be unwilling anymore is where I got confused. I couldn't tell if he was RPing or if it was real.
