Colds, Work and other Miscellaneous thoughts
I've got a cold. Again. Connor had Bronchiolitis a month ago, and ended up at the hospital because he wasn't breathing very well. After having to do nebulizer treatments (never fun on a 6 month old) and him taking steriods, he got better. I got it as well and was sick as a dog for weeks. I got better, and then had a severe double ear infection that caused perforation of both of my eardrums. Ouch. I was mostly deaf for nearly 2 weeks! That was such a miserable experience. So, that went away... and now I'm sick again with some sort of a cold thing... I hope it doesn't turn into bronchitis like my boss and coworker have - but they're how I got sick so maybe... UGH!
Speaking of work, I like my job. I'm working at WalMart. It isn't the hellhole that people make it out to be. My boss is awesome, and so are most of my coworkers. I work with several highly motivated people, and a couple of very lazy ones. I prefer working with the motivated ones. We bust our butts and get a ton of stuff done. I find my job fairly rewarding. Plus, the pay isn't half bad compared to some of the other places around here.
I miss my old friends! There are so many people that I haven't talked to in ages, for various reasons... and I miss them all very much!
I don't hate being a single mommy. What I really miss is being cuddled.
