A Long Couple of Weeks
Wow, the severe deficit in my posts as of late is becoming ridiculous. However, life has been a bit hectic... With me working like a madwoman, and Thanksgiving, and Adam's Birthday, and... Black Friday *ooh... doom!*
This past week has been especially insane. Starting Tuesday. Tuesday, I got up, ironed, babysat Duncan (*the rambunctious nine year old*), helped cook, and finally went to bed at a really late hour. On Wednesday, I worked from 2 until 7pm, hung out with Liz and Adam at the mall (played DDR!) and then headed up to New Hampshire (to Adam's parents' place) for Turkey Day. Slept like corpse, got up and played with my (future) niece (*aww cute!!*) and then went to Adam's uncle's place for Dinner, headed home from NH in the horrid rain around 6pm. I missed seeing my grandparents by 5 minutes (suckage) and went to bed really late.
Friday, I got up early, ironed Adam's work shirt, went to work at 3:00, got out at Midnight. Drove to NH *"again!"*, curled up in a chair and slept on and off for the next 6 hours. We were woken up by Adam's mom (i was really confused... took a few minutes for my brain to register who it was that was telling me to go sleep in their bed) went back to sleep... pseudo-slept for a few more hours. Then, I helped Adam's mom cook dinner, we ate, had a mini-bday party, and we headed out around 6ish. We stopped at the Rockingham Park Mall because we were both falling asleep, and needed a wake up. We got home around 10:45, and Adam opened his presents from my parents and sister... aww sweet... Then we watched Ice Age 2 and ended up going to bed around 3:45.
So, Sunday I wake up at 7:30 to be at work for 9... gah, so tired... I get out at 5, we go to the laundromat, do laundry, I end up going to bed really late (Again!!), and had to be up early again today... I went to work at 9, worked till five, and well... here I am typing this. So yes, busy seems to cover it quite well.
