Can you do html coding on your profile page? If you don't know then I'll have to look it up on some FAQs. I keep my journal in the old S1 style, because I hate the new way.

You should be able to, at least the simple things--bolding, italics, underline, blockquotes, tables, etc. It probably wouldn't be wise to do CSS or attempt [body] tags, because that would screw with the LJ defaults, but other than that you should be good.
