Why I haven't posted lately
I've been pretty busy. I started school on Monday and both my classes I enjoy so far. One is Dutch History and the other is War and Memory. The War and Memory class is a study of war in American Social History and whatnot.
I had trouble working out my financial aid but in the end it all worked out. I think. I'm pretty sure. I need to go back to the One Stop today and make double sure. Speaking of the One Stop, a kind of information/finaid/registration core at my school, I miss One Stop Stacey. She worked at the One Stop and I would always make it a point to talk to her. She helped me out a ton when I first came to the school. At first she at least remembered my problems and if I'd come there that day or even week, unlike the people there now. And after a while she remembered my nae and talked to me like a real person and not a number. Now, the same guy who I talked to two days ago, with my big long finaid probelm didn't seem to remember me at all or any of my proble the next day. I mean, it's not the school year and it's never busy in there. YOu'd think after I started explaining he would go OOHHH I remember you. Crazy.
Any way, the worst part of my summer classes is that I couldn't take the one classes I wanted and I was planning on taking. I didn't find out until last minute. SO I had to take War and Memory. It is an everyday in June class. I didn't know for sure until yesterday when I finalized my financial aid, but this means I won't be able to attend Girl Scout Camp. I am going to call/email Ann and Thumper today. I am really bummed about this. I mean, for one, it puts Ann and others in a really tough position trying to fill my spot. And I was going to have fun with it, because Ann and I already planned it and such. And I always work on the skit. The skit is my favorite part. I hope some one gets kidnapped. I will miss the girls and the themes and being involved and making collages and the food. Oh Well. School has to come first. I just hope everything works out.
Meowkitty and her three kittens are doing well. I haven't been paying a lot of attention so I don't really even know if their eyes are open but, they are cute and still tiny. I am going home this weekend for my brother's graduation and Thomas and Dayna's wedding reception. On the same day-June 7th. Which is also Brian's birthday. I hope to be able to see and hang out with all my friends while I'm home this weekend. I haven't seen Rob, Ashley and Brian in a while. I saw Avi last time I was here but I miss her too.
One of the other things that has been keeping me from updating is this Game Application on facebook called Text Twirl. It gives you six letters which definitely spell out a six letter word. Then you rearrange the letters coming up with as many words as you an think of. I'm pretty much addicted to it. Now, all the time in my head I am rearrange letters in words. Like last night I was hanging out with Josh and watching Buffy (end of season 5/beginning of 6. SOme heavy stuff. I'm excited because I can see the lead up to the Spuffy squee) and in my head I was going STALE, SLATE, LEAST, TALES, LATE, SATE, EAST, SEAT, SEAL, LEAS, SALE, TEAS, TALE and so on. If you're on FAcebook, you should definitely give it a try.
