Absolutely, fantastically, incredibly, exceptionally wonderful! Best movie I've seen since Chicago hit the theaters.
I cried the whole second half. I would've sobbed but I didn't have enough tissues on me.
I might not go see it seven times like I did Chicago, but I think a couple more times in the next few weeks will be a definite.
I rarely buy DVDs of movies when they come out, but I so intend on buying this one the day it does.
And good god! Previews! Brokeback Mountain! The slash lover in me is sooooo going to see that one as soon as it's released too.
All in all, a great birthday! Didn't have to work, got a birthday bang, had onion rings at the Weathervane (and other food but they don't count when onion rings are present), saw an exceptional movie, went to Trader Joes. Mmmmm, new coffee beans to grind tomorrow. Ooh, and presents! Mike had given me $200 which I blew last Saturday at Foxwoods. Oops. Sue gave me a great laptop bag from Eddie Bauer. $50 Walmart card from Patti. Four new thick bathtowels and four new thick washclothes in the Stars & Moon theme I've got going on in the bathroom from my mother, along with a warm, cuddly sweatshirt.
And a hilarious card and Walmart gift card from Kim!
Tonight it's Boston Creme Pie. Yum.
