Halloween 2009!!!!
A very good day.
Woke up at Chad's...opened the front door...and...KITTENS!!! Two orange fuzzy tiny meowing kittens ran straight up to me! A Halloween miracle!
Turns out they belong to his meth addict neighbors, who just leave tiny helpless kittens outside roaming the neighborhood - so we took them to the humane society where they will get shots/neutered/good homes. I asked if they were crowded and he said no they don't get many kittens this time of year so they will get homes right quick. :) Soooooo cuuuuute!
Emily, Chad and I all totally put off planning costumes, so a few hours before we went out, Chad and I threw on some face paint and Shmem pulled together a freakin rad parrot costume haha - that was some quick sewing :)
One of Chad's roommates Jen, who is a chill girl, was lookin like she was gunna be staying home, and we weren't havin that, so we dragged her along with us on our adventures as a bumble bee.
We went downtown into the madness - serious madnesss! Cops on horseback were on every corner.
I wish I could have taken more pix, but my camera was dying and I can't find my charger!
There were a bunch of guys who built a cardboard car and walked/drove it around the streets, and a really convincing Predator that scared the shite out of me. At one point we turned a corner and were charged by like 5 Storm Troopers lol. We saw my friend Mohammed, who was CRUNKD out of his mind and hilarious - not the usual reserved Saudi I am used to lol. We went on a wild goose chase trying to find Kelly - and finally ended up with her at her apartment for pizza and some "herbal refreshment".
After that we went to my neighbor's little shindig, and saw Ethan dressed up in Emily's clothes as Dr. Frank-N-Furter! I also bake them halloween cookies like a god neighbor :)
