What day is it anyway....

Well I havn't posted in a few days. Nothing all that exciting to report I guess. I am with Sin on the Mel brooks fix. I love him and think I need one too. History of the world is by far my fav. I can quote line by line. *grinz* Men in tights and spaceballs are up there too. Thinking I need to add a few more dvds to my collection. Blazing saddles...mmm yep.

I have been crashing kinda early this week...and it seems I am getting tired earlier and earlier every night. Course I am the last one here always, and usually first one in in the morning. Somehow I call that crashing early.

I have been crawling the walls this week. Antsy for so many things. The weather was a tease of sunshine today.. I couldnt believe it. IT WAS LIKE 50 DEGREES! The sun shined on me and the wind wasnt freezing and I actually enjoyed leaving the house. Thank god i have karate to at least make me leave for something besides work.

I have a belt test coming up March 12th. I was thinking I wasnt going to test again for 3-4 months, but we are doing another two month strech and then will probably be 4 months til I test again after that. This will be the big BLUE belt. The colors are getting darker. My style has 10 belts. This will be my 5th belt over 10 months. Things slow waaaay down from here. Will take me three more years to get to black, but at this point I have every intention of getting it. Karate and vp are the only things keeping me sane I think.

I am traveling two weekends in March. First trip is to Atlanta for work meetings. I look forward to seeing all my friends that are scattered nationwide. (would LOVE to see my VP friends too!) We have a great time together. Ths could be my last roundtable meeting. I may not qualify in the top 10 reps for this year. Not unless I have some new senior managers promote before the end of June. Last year I was #1 in the company in leadership development. Time will tell, as someone I know always says. I'm moving forward...

My second trip in March wil be the third weekend of the month. I am road tripping to
Pennsylvania new Penn State U for a karate Eastern Regional training weekend (Gashaku in karate speak). I am lookng forward to a FUN weekend of training, drinking laughing and raising hell with my karate friends. We will leave Friday morning and come home sunday. Can't wait! My group of friends I train with is so great.

I am loving teaching at the dojo too. I am a Sempi in my sons' Jr Karate class for ages 7 and up. These guys are mostly upper ele and middle school kids. Both of my boys are in this class now. And thank goodness that think its kewl that I help teach it. This is great age group to work with. I think I prefer them to the preschool and K kids. I had my teaching certificate in secondary ed. I like the big kids for some reason. Maybe this will turn into something that will pay some money, more than free classes. I would love to teach..it IS something I am passionate about it. I can do sales and train sales reps, and I may be good at it, but passion, *sighs* not really. I don't think I will go back to the public school system. At least not any time soon. One never knows ...public shools..sheesh a lot of bullshit to put up with. I can get my teaching fix in a lot of ways. Maybe it will be with Karate. The dojo is approaching its one year anniversary, and I started at their very first class the day they opened. It was Yoga. I had no intention of becoming a karate addict.lol But look at me now. I can do round house kicks with the best of em.

So i guess I have rattled on long enough. Everyone went to bed and left me a lone to rant like a loon. Oh well.. glad ya'll are here to listen.

love ya bunches ..my FAMILY ..more than friends... :o)
