I don't know how many of you eat seafood, but a quick look through a (green) article about it tonight made me decide to link two places for you. I link them because, even if you don't, it's kinda fun to see what they are saying are the best choices to eat and not eat with seafood. At least, to me. Reasons can include mercury, over fishing, pollution, and other such things.
[
Link One.] - A chart showing a number of different species, what's safest to eat in what amounts for age and gender, and the reasoning why for that location on the chart.
[
Link Two] - This one is the one I think is fun. Click on the region you live in, and it will give you a cheat sheet of seafoods that are 'best' 'good alternatives' and 'avoid'. Maybe I'm easy to amuse.
[
Link Three] - The article these links come from, along with numerous other sources for those questions that are popping up in your head.
And that is your green post for the week.*
*I'm thinking about doing more of these, more or less. Maybe one a week or so. Part of this is due to the fact that I want to live up to my own personal goal of trying to help make a positive environmental impact. The memorial I was at yesterday made me decide this is something I need to do more. If there is anyone who would not like to see these, and my comments that go with them, please leave a comment (screened) or inform me in some other -- polite -- manner. You may also comment if there are any topics you'd like to see discussed.
