You’re A Mean One
Authors Notes: This was written for the Grinch challenge at grangersnape100. I believe the last thing I wrote was about two years ago. So, here I am, trying again. Thank you to Alauralen for looking this over and telling me I don’t suck. Thank you also to Droxy for convincing me to write something again.
Hermione heard Severus chuckle from the living room as she cooked dinner, registering the volume on the TV growing steadily louder.
“You’re a monster, Mr. Grinch,” the TV sang. “Your heart’s an empty hole!”
Walking quietly to the kitchen door, she peered into the living room.
Severus sat, riveted to their new television. The Grinch slithered through the Who houses, eliciting another, louder chuckle from Severus.
“The three words that best describe you are as follows, and I quote: Stink, stank, stunk!”
Severus nearly howled with laughter.
Hermione smiled. You’d think he hasn’t already watched the video a dozen times.
