A real update
Okay, using the last post as only a bid to get other people interested in a movie I want to see seems unfair. :-)
Now, for a real update:
Due to financial reasons (ie I can't afford it) I'll be moving out of my apartment at the end of this month. It's sad, because I like this apartment a lot, despite the cost, and having my own space has been a nice change. I'll be moving back in with my mom, sending most of my stuff to storage. On the plus side, this will save me a LOT of money, even if Joon has to deal with not being the only cat (there will be three!).
Part of the financial reasons is also the fact that I've just taken a part time, graveyard shift, phlebotomy position. I'm excited, and really freaked out. During this month I have to go into the hospital at 6:30 in the morning to be assessed before taking my shift. If I can do phlebotomy that early in the morning, then I don't think I'll have a problem. :-D Plus the shift is 7 days on, 7 days off, which means I get basically two vacations a month. lol. Not really, but it's nice to think about.
The part time job is because I get to do the full time student thing again next year and clinicals! 17 credit hours at least. I find it a little twisted that I'm really excited about it! I'm doing really well in the MLT class and I'm looking forward to seeing what my options are next year when I graduate. Also, PCC gave me great financial aid so I can afford to do all of this. And I found out that Medical Technicians are eligible for cancellations on Perkins loans. Yay!
Alright, there's my real update. Hope everyone else out there is still doing well. :-D
