That's right boys and girls. I'm back from chicago. The Gay Games were AMAZING. Seriously I can't believe I ever was hesitant about going.

Just in case any of you were wondering...

WE WON THE GOLD
hahaha. I was so fortunate to play with my team. I've been playing soccer since I was 7 years old, and I've played on a lot of different teams, ( Read more... )

Well, I haven't won any GOLD MEDALS ;-) but I'm doing pretty good. I know, I need to do an update so people don't think I've died or something. Speaking of that, where in the heck is Gary? Have you talked to him lately? I hope his silence is because things are going so well he doesn't have time to update.

Again, congrats! That's fantastic. Nice to know all that work and going to Chicago paid off in a big way.

haha you don't need a gold medal. Yea I haven't heard from you in a while. Gary's doing well - new relationship so he's 'busy' :P. I haven't talked to him in a lil bit, I have to call him. I haven't really been around much lately. SO busy and was preparing for Chicago and all. Now I'm kinda recovering haha.

New relationship? I thought that might be it and that's what I originally typed and then changed it. LOL. Good for him! Whenever you talk to him tell him I'm happy for him.

As for me, I'm trying to keep fairly busy. Going to a big San Diego Pride party this weekend and my workouts have been going extremely well (for some unknown reason, but I'm not complaining - lol) so I'll have a chance to show off the results and I'm hoping I at least get groped. haha! The weather has sucked lately though. We're on our 20th straight day of 100+ temps in inland areas. It was 119 at some friend's house on Saturday and it's even been almost 100 degrees at the beach too, but it's the humidity that makes it miserable. We rarely ever experience humidity here and we're not used to it. If I wanted miserable weather all the time I'd live on the East coast! ha!

I've heard it's been insanely hot over there lately. I love warm weather... but 120 is a bit much, even for me. But global warming is a myth. ;)

Groped huh? Something tells me you won't have any problems in that area - unless ofcourse you have those tan lines still hahahahahaha. J/K. I'm not one to talk. I have soccer's tan - which is the WORST possible tan one can have. It's worse than farmers tan. WAY worse.

No, my "fat roll" stripes are gone. :-) I think farmer tans (t-shirt lines on your arms) are the worst, nut are you telling me that gay soccer teams don't wear speedos or squarts?! You're ruining the whole mental image I had. LOL

NO. No speedos or squarts... The soccer shorts are short, but, don't forget the shinguards and socks. Basically - from about mid thigh to 4 inches below my knee is tan. I HATE IT. I'm going to have to go the beach and put sunscreen on the already tan parts in an attempt to even it out! lol.

I forgot about the socks and shinguards. That must be attractive! ha! I can relate though - as you know. Took about 3 weeks for my stripes to totally go away. Maybe try some fake tanning stuff. It doesn't totally work, but it made it less obvious. A little orange is better than red and white stripes. ;-)
