Dead ancestors who could take me in a fight
I have thoroughly enjoyed my day off work. Awoke later, showered. 'Did' charity shops with Dad (Rab Butler biog, Alan Clark diaries (which are very 'wow') and some Alan Bennett Talking Heads (not a collaboration album)). Had a stroll along the somewhat breezy seafront.
Drive back to Manc was a bit rubbish, but arrived to find an email from Uncle Doug in my inbox. He includes a scan of a Great, Great, Great Aunt of mine. She is the oldest direct(ish) ancestor on the British side who I have a photo of. She is also bloody terrifying!
This reminds me that I really must do an 'ancestors' thing on my facebook.
