So what now? What's left?
Is there a single human being who is actually worth getting to know, sharing compassion, ideas, life?
Who’s to know? Everyone’s so wrapped up in their own lives. To worried about saving their own skin to slow down and take a step back. To realize what’s really out there. That there’s more to life than the hussle and bussle and currency.
The selfishness of the world has gotten way out of hand. Is there any turning back? I guess it’s up to you. Whether or not you can look outside yourself, your body, your possessions and see just how beautiful the world really is.
When was the last time you sat and listened to the bird's song? It's gift to you. When was the last time you sat and admired a rose, in all its beauty? It's gift to you. When was the last time you put down your cell phone, your ipod, your wallet, and gazed up at the brightness of the stars? Their gift... to you.
Life is going by us too fast, and we don’t even see the blur.
