English Apathy on St Georges Day
There was an interesting comment on one of my Facebook chums feed just now.
"I would rather dye my hair than dye for my beliefs"
I suspect that on St Georges day the apathy of the English can be encapsulated in that statement, and I know many people who would clamber to agree with it.
I can't help feeling that is the very reason why the corrupt, the power crazed, the bullies and the cheats continue to get away with it, and the only time anyone really takes notice is when it gets serialised on TV.
