My Kingdom for a microphone
Do any of you lovely people out there have such a thing as a PC microphone that I could test on my computer?
I've been using Skype recently with a combined headset and boom microphone. (The type that plugs into the speakers and microphone socket on your laptop) Unfortunatley it is old and second hand and now the boom microphone doesn't work. I have seen some rather nice ones to buy but before I go ahead I want to make sure that the port is not at fault and so I was hoping to test it with a microphone. I could probably eve bring the laptop round to you if you are local and test it if you had one so it wouldn't even need to leave the house.
Can anyone help?
