The most fruitful month (Oct-Nov)

Nov 05, 2006 01:20

Whenever I’m moody, I will go shopping. And now that I have quit smoking, I have extra $500 bucks to spend every month. Plus I'm getting rid of my car next month. I'm going to save lots of $$$!!! Lolz. I was doing my finances today. Hmm.

Things which I bought this month:
- Overhead Champion - The Trance Champion (CD+DVD)
- Overhead Champion - Eternity (CD+DVD)
- Ayumi Hamasaki - Secret (CD+DVD)
- Ayumi Hamasaki - Arena 2006 (DVD)
I imported all these from CD Japan. About $250 worth. I seldom buy CDs/DVDs because I support piracy. Haha. But I dunno why I bought them. Maybe cos the Overhead Champion CDs cannot be found anywhere, nor any piracy groups have released them. And as for Ayumi, it is because I wanna support her. She is rumoured to be getting married. And when a japanese star gets married, they will most likely go downhill. :(

- 2 Full-zip fleece (Lumber Road and Otis Ledge)
- 1 Pullover fleece (Miller Falls)
- 1 Remsen Low Rise Slim Straight jeans
- 1 Baxtor Low Rise Slim Boot jeans
- 2 Crewnecks (Aldrich Pond)
All these are from Abercrombie & Fitch. About $800 worth. And my fren just told me, “Huh? Why did you buy Abercrombie? Bangkok and Bugis sell all the fakes! Lame brand!” But I really like their designs. I don't really care what she thinks or what other people think. The material is just thick enough for the cold weather in Melbourne.

- 2 jars of Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Rescue (for me and my buddy)
Almost $400 worth of shit, but I hope it will heal our dark eye circles. Vitamin K is the only compound supposed to work. You need to see a plastic surgeon to remove dark eye circles. So this is our only hope. Lolz!

- 2 pairs of D&G sunglasses (D&G8009 - Black for myself and the white one as a Chritmas gift for my buddy)
- Louis Vuitton Damier Geant Canvas messenger bag

I also went to make my mom’s 1.9ct diamond into an ear stud. For my use lah. Actually, I stole it from her safe. Haha! She dunno yet.

I'll get the pictures up when I get the new Canon IXUS 850 next month. Plus 2 new handphones (maybe N73 and K800i).

I haven’t been buying much stuff this year. Not exactly waste of money. Before you think I'm wasting money, below are the reasons to justify my purchases.
- The thick clothes will be used when I'm in Melbourne.
- I was initially psychoed by my female friend to buy G*Star jeans (about $300 per pair). Now I get 2 pairs of Abercrombie for $300. So it is actually a bargain.
- The eye gel is to heal my dark eye circles.
- My pair of sunglasses is all scratched and old.
- The LV bag is to put my laptop, new camera and handphones when I'm in Melbourne.
- The CDs/DVD are really not-much-of-use. <- Waste money?? But they cannot be downloaded. :S
- The diamond is stolen from my mom. I only pay for the four-prong white gold setting.
- My old camera is a 3.2megapixel Fuji shit.
- My handphone now is actually spoilt. It gets cut off every 5-10mins?? I need another extra handphone for my Aussie phone number plus I'm not cancelling my Singapore line.

Guess my purchases this month are really put to good use. I'm not an accountant for nothing. Lolz.

I also started to demand Christmas presents from my friends. Haha. No lah, they actually asked me what I want. I think I need a new belt and a set of cuff links. And maybe a new pair of leather shoes.

I also need to hunt for some HUGE luggage bags next month. I also need to buy a new latop, 2-3 portable harddisks and a thumbdrive. I'm selling off my Rolex Explorer II and Bvlgari Rettangolo. I don't want them anymore. I also wanna get rid of my very old thick gold chain and a very ugly dragon gold ring. When I bought them, the gold prices was like $17+, it is $30+++ now. I guess I'll buy Christmas presents when I'm back in Taiwan later this month. This moving-to-Melbourne thing is costing me a bomb. :S
