online schedule flop
the schedules at the lobster are posted online, every friday for the next week starting at monday. I checked mine this friday and saturday. the schedule for the current week seemed a bit odd, they had me starting later on in the evening that I am used to seeing people get into the kitchen, and I was also scheduled to work a position I had just breifly trained on. the up side was that I had mon and tues off, so I used those with my sunday off and went to clearwater. once back in orlando, I go to double check that odd shift I was to work on wed... I guess I pulled a no call - no show, my first. the schedule had changed to something that would have made more sense, but also something totally different than I had set my plans to. so there I am checking my schedule when I should be there working in the kitchen. it was actually around closing time when I found out, so calling would have been pointless. I just can't understand why they wouldn't have called me, you know, to see what was up. I guess I'm used to jax "where the hell are you!" I feel guilty, but I'm not sure if I should or not. it doesn't seem right for them to be able to change the schedule like that, without letting people know. ugh. well, I will find out tomorrow.
