I was more daring with burn circuit 1 today. I matched almost all the weights that Chalene was lifting. If she did 17.5 lbs, I did 17.5 lbs. Though every time she did 20 lbs I still stuck to 15. Next Sunday I'm upping it to do the 20 with her. It's incredible how strong the lower body is and so you can always go heavier with the weights when you do

Sorry to hear you felt bad about the eating. But it's good already that you're training so hard. Don't be too hard on yourself if you slip every now and then. Though I do understand you really want to reach your goal this time.
Not sure what squats and lunges are. I will google it tomorrow.

I finally joined the club's 30 day trial. Everyone's been telling me they give you a daily meal plan w/a shopping list. So I'm gonna try that and see what happens in the next 30 days.
Did you ever find out what squats and lunges were? I was gonna make you a video of the program... still will but just wanted to know if you've looked it up.

I've looked it up at youtube (which has really great videos for training!!). I guess I was doing squats exercises as well. But not lunges. I will add that to my exercies :D
EDIT: No I was mistaken, I didn't do squats either. Just tried both of them. It was so hard! I guess those are muscles I never use. I am glad I found out because now I work on them. Your posts are so good :D

I'm glad you see what squats and lunges are and that you will incorporate them into your workout :) They work your hamstrings and adductors/abductors (inner/outer thigh muscles). These muscles (plus the glutes) are the largest muscles in the body and so training them burns A TON of calories! So don't be surprised if you're hungrier on days that you train these muscles, it's natural. The more calories you burn (during a workout) the more you get to eat :)

Oh it's so good to hear that squats and lunges are great exercises. I never knew squats would be so difficult though!
Reading your posts helps me a lot! I am very glad you are sharing everything here. I will try to write more about my exercises and food adjustments in my entries. But I am not doing BIG things. Just small stuff. And I don't need to lose weight per se. I want to be toned. I do want to loose my belly fat. And the fat in my face.

Glad it helps :) It helps me too since I get to scold myself and also look back at past mistakes that sabotaged my efforts so that I don't repeat them. I'm always on Lj and I feel bad if I have to make a post about not eating well or missing a workout, so it keeps me motivated and accountable.
I enjoy reading about your daily routines. Especially when you mention exercise. I'd love to read more so yes please keep it up. I don't really need to lose weight either more necessary that I tone up. In mostly the same areas as you (face, belly fat) and also back fat for me. I am super determined to finish these goals by my 27th birthday this year. I just have to!

Tomorrow when I woke up I did 15 squats and 15 lunges today after cycling for 20 minutes (which is 4 minutes more than I usually, look at me stepping up!) :D I also did 15 x 2 = 60 crunches. One set before and one set after cycling. It's been a good exercise day : )
Interesting that you mention your birthday as a goal date. Because I was thinking the same way about my birthday. I want to be more toned and have a healthy facial skin by then : ) But for me it's a little too early. Because my birthday is in three weeks. Still, I am hoping it will show by then. The effects I mean, of me exercising again and eating healthy.
Do you drink lots of water too?

I was feeling a little back ache again after cycling to the city with my sister last week. So I have been taking it slow with exercising even though I did cycle 20 minutes again yesterdaymorning. I am stopping with the crunches for a few days because I don't want the pain to get worse. I am bummed though. Everything was going so well, and now this : (
Oh I am so happy to hear about your face. That sounds really good. Unfortunately I was getting pimples again last week. It seems it comes every time with my menstruation. Or a week later. I still have to find a better treatment. I am using Biotherme now but I am not sure if it is working.
Me too, love water! :D Could not live without it and I drink it all day long : )
