100 things I've learned this year...now it's 104

THINGS I’VE LEARNED THIS YEAR:

1. Real love hurts- it isn’t easy and it takes three things to work: commitment, communication, and time.
2. Live each day as if it were your last- one day it will be.
3. Driving on I-95 scares the shit out of me.
4. Sometimes all you need is that one person that will listen to you rant and rave…
5. I wish, more than anything, that I was closer (in distance and emotionally) to those I love.
6. I’m over this school thing- I think senioritis has sunk in again…but this time mommy’s not here to tell me I have to go to school :)
7. Hearing certain songs on the radio will always remind me of certain people.
8. I need to learn to keep my mouth shut sometimes.
9. When your world crumbles around you and you can’t run to mommy, your best friends will always be there for you (thank you Caroline, Molly, and Michelle)
10. Sometimes the one thing you really want is the one thing you can’t have
11. Often, seeing a smile on a child’s face is enough to make your day
12. My sister is actually pretty cool- and our relationship has gotten a lot better, thankfully
13. If I try my hardest I can actually earn good grades! LoL
14. Some people are just meant to be in your life.
15. No matter what happened in the past, some friendships are worth fighting for and worth rekindling.
16. Some things are better left unsaid and not discussed.
17. Sometimes you have to let go.
18. Never take those you love for granted…one day they won’t be there.
19. Everyone has a soul mate- you may not end up with that person in the end, but they’ll always be there for you.
20. No matter what happens, I’ll always remain extremely close to certain people.
21. Some people, no matter how much they deny it, haven’t changed at all.
22. Drama, drama, drama…it follows you everywhere.
23. Seeing certain people will always put a smile on my face
24. I tend to attract the creepy guys when I go out…how is that?!
25. It’s so hard to get over the loss of a loved one.
26. I’m so excited to almost be done with school!
27. Eventually, you’ve just had enough of people
28. Some things are worth waiting for- like an apartment.
29. I won’t have to live out of my car next year.
30. I will actually be a SENIOR in college next year (doesn’t that make you feel old?)
31. The real world is coming a lot sooner than you think
32. You can’t always control the things you want to.
33. Sometimes you just have to realize that living with certain people again wouldn’t be a smart move- especially if you want to keep the friendship.
34. You have to do what’s right for you (yes, this is towards you, Caroline.)
35. I’m so thankful for the friends I have here
36. I’m thankful for what I have and who I have in my life right now.
37. I have to face the fact that I’m growing up…
38. This school isn’t all it’s cracked up to be…especially in the education department.
39. Not to accept the “that’s life, suck it up or get out” speech from Dr. Finnegan…go to Williams.
40. Advisors suck! Especially when they don’t tell you something important when you could have made the change- now I have to suffer cuz she didn’t think to inform me of this.
41. 21st birthdays are, by far, the best.
42. Never take anything for granted.
43. I miss colorguard- not enough to go back though. :)
44. Some people will never learn from their mistakes…no matter what.
45. I’m a sucker for the good peer pressure- like myspace and facebook.
46. Eczema is really hard to get ride of.
47. Getting a Dr’s appointment to try and get medicine for the Eczema is even harder
48. I’m ridiculously pale…
49. Sometimes it’s better to yell and get it off your chest then to hold onto it
50. My mom (and sometimes my dad- although he’s not too good at remembering things) is still the one person that will always be there for me.
51. Apparently cold weather occurs in March…who knew?
52. Frost in Florida can last past 8 in the morning…I know, I was shocked too when it wouldn’t come off my window!
53. Using Time Warner Cable’s online bill pay is sooo much easier than dealing with those morons every month
54. Doing a trash and dash is just what you need when you start talking to an old friend again.
55. Giving a little girl a book that she loves and can keep for the rest of her life is priceless
56. It’s the little things you miss when someone’s no longer around.
57. I won’t be getting my Matzo Ball Soup ever again…yea, that totally hit me at 11:30 one night.
58. Everything happens for a reason
59. Somehow, I could go all of last year without asking for money, but I worked more this year than last and yet, I needed more money from my parents…
60. I regret only one thing in my life…and he knows what that is.
61. I wish I had the power to change things
62. Living with someone who smokes all the time isn’t cool.
63. Sometimes, just spending a few hours doing absolutely nothing but laying on that special someone’s lap can make everything suddenly seem perfect.
64. I can make it home in four hours even if I drive at 75 the whole way- there just has to be no traffic.
65. Taking 12 credits was a waste of time…I’ve been so bored this semester it’s not even funny
66. LeeAnn is my slave!
67. LeeAnn rides a broomstick everywhere- damn witch! :)
68. MovieWorks sucks
69. First graders are so cute
70. I may have an intern teacher (for my elem. Ed. One anyway)
71. Someone keeps using my face wash and that makes me really angry!
72. The Urbz is quite amusing
73. There are some really rude people here
74. Mr. Rivera works at Pompano Beach High now…he was my favorite middle school teacher!!
75. I have some great friends
76. Thunderstorms here (when they actually do occur, which is rare) are nothing like the ones at home…
77. My sister has turned into a beautiful young woman (but she’s still a pain :))
78. Most of my classes are really pointless…it’s all common sense.
79. Video games (and computer games) suck you in.
80. As long as I don’t tell my mom that my cell phone is hooked up to her account, I get a free $86 every month :)
81. Saturday morning cartoons just aren’t what they used to be.
82. As more and more time goes by, I realize more and more that I miss what I had and I’d give anything to have it back.
83. Packing sucks
84. I love my job- even though I get frustrated with it sometimes
85. I can’t handle immature people…
86. The carts at Libby’s self-storage place really suck!
87. Apparently, this school has a bomb shelter- and it’s kind of creepy down there
88. King Street traffic is horrendous.
89. The beds up here are really awful for your back
90. I less than three a lot of people
91. 4 people in particular have made the past two months the best- especially since I was going through some really hard times…
92. Even though a friend comes to visit you, it doesn’t mean you should ignore everyone else while they are here.
93. I’m having a pirate-themed double wedding! :)
94. Sunflowers take forever to bloom
95. I’m not a morning person at all
96. I’m going on a cruise this summer!!!
97. My family will always be there for me
98. Dr. Gregoire has gone off her rocker
99. I’ve become a neat freak
100. I love my friends and family

101. Libby is a jackass (only certain people will understand this)
102. "WTF, mate?" is a great saying because it encompasses everything!
103. Foamy the squirrel really knows what he's talking about- especially when it comes to computer technicians. :)
104. Fire alarms going off at 1 in the morning during the week of finals is so NOT COOL! Gosh...and then no one tells us anything about what happened...and I had to be up at 7:30...grr!
