I'm posting these because the last time I posted resolutions online, more than half worked out. I'll take those odds :)
2014 Resolutions
1) Read more. I feel better when I do. I need to make the time.
2) I'm not sure how I'm going to do it money-wise, but I am going to start formal education for Genealogy this year. It might take me a few years to be able to support Mom and myself doing ONLY this, but its never going to happen if I don't get started. I even have the school picked out, I just have to figure out the finances. My goal is to get all my schooling done this year and be ready to start the application process to be a Certified Genealogist by the end of the year.
3) Write more. I've missed this so much. Again, I will MAKE time for this.
4) I will take back my house. I've been using the back room for storage ever since Rhian did what he did to us. I didn't want to go through everything and see EXACTLY what was gone, and feel everything all over again because I was already gutted from the experience. But I'm done with it. And anything he left behind, like an Xbox 360 is now MINE and I'm bloody well going to enjoy it!
5) I will (slowly) work on accepting that I am smaller now and try to start dressing less baggy (that has more to do with $ than anything else right now but I will still be working on it!)
6) I will try to go out and do something outside of work at least once a week (not counting shopping). Take myself to a movie, hang out with friends, just SOMETHING.
7) I will continue to explore my spirituality. The one thing I was really happy about in 2013 was the true blessing that finding The Spiritual Church of Turlock was to my life (thanks again to Karen for putting a swift boot up my backside which led me there). I will get back into the groove and learn as much as I can.
I will move more. I have injuries and limitations that I will take into account or I'll really mess myself up, but I must do what I can do around that and I plan to.
9) I will attempt to date. Attempt.
10) I will give attention to a few of my wacky ideas and see if I can make something happen with them.
