Hum. I've almost really shifted my online presence from here to Tumblr, based almost exclusively on iPhone apps (that, and things like that Out Of Context Science account). How sad. There's some stuff there about what I've done over the summer and stuff. Tim's photos are better than my posts, in general terms. How else are people meant to know what their ambassadorial residence looks like?
Anyway, now I'm starting off O&G. Got to see my first Caesar on Sunday night. Pretty horrifying. Intellectually, I understand it, because you get finer control using your hands to rip things than cutting (with normal-sized instruments). But did anyone else see Jamie O'Shea rip a chicken open at the very beginning of first year? Caesareans remind me of that, but then all of a sudden there's a baby. It's...freakish. And fast. A reg today was talking about how it's 4 minutes from knife to delivery. Scary. Having womanly parts is a bit scary also.
More to the point of the post, I'm off to Sufjan tomorrow, and because I'm in Subi in gynae clinic tomorrow afternoon, I figure I'll not go home and instead get a few drinks at a convenient location. Anyone interested in drinks at Ezra from, say, 5-ish tomorrow?
