No, it can't, and I am utterly disinterested in GBS's general views on feminist issues or rape as that is the exact response GBS puts forth for every single conceivable occurrence of rape ever.

Abuse of the system actually probably accounts for a good deal of why the system has some of the problems that it does, and to act as though it's not a legitimate problem is tantamount to plugging your ears and going "LA LA LA LA" on the scale of genuine responses.

This is a moderate issue, but it's a vastly overplayed issue specifically in GBS. However rape is still vastly under-reported and under-prosecuted so the only reform to the process I'm particularly interested in seeing pursued would be something which facilitates increased reporting and prosecution of actual rapists, of which there are many. Preventing false imprisonment is an issue which while having some overlap with rape is an issue that is larger than just a rape issue and will need to be addressed seperately.
