finals are over. they all went well (except for the Russian presentation.. one kid said he was embarassed for my group :/ whatever, they didn't really do work 'til the last minute)
this year has been pretty incredible. the last semester was so tough, it feels so good to be done with. I'll really miss this apartment, and I'll miss Jess, a lot a lot a lot. waiting for grades to slowly come in. I am optimistic.
started the summer off right with a trip with Becca, Meg, and Steve to Hamden for free comic book day (though Meg got the days wrong and its actually tomorrow. so we looked around the first comic store and Steve bought something. Then walked to The Avenue (36th st.) and went to Cafe Hon. stopped by atomic books on the way, and they were offering their free comics today, so that was nice. the Hon was nice, no one else had been there before. I had a vegetarian black bean burger. Super, super tasty.. then over to the shop across the street for ice cream sundaes. Steve attempted to tie a cherry stem into a knot, and after the initial failure. we were chatting and eating and he was silent but none of us really noticed until he burst out with a very loud "I DID IT!!!" amusing. On the walk home we found perfect dandelion puffs and made wishes on them. The light rail home was packed on account of the aparant O's game today. I like surfing :D
now its time to dismantle my room and clean clean clean.
Summer looks bright and orange and I am happy. I am so, so happy.
