I freaked out - they canceled Catwoman, Manhunter, Blue Beetle, Robin, Nightwing, and Bop and I'm like THANKS GUISE IT ISN'T LIKE I WANTED TO READ COMICS OR ANYTHING. I also loathe Damien. He tried to kill Tim! [And I got yelled at bc I was told if I like Jason I have to like Damien, but that's lies. Jason had a good reason to be resentful of Tim. I understand why he went after him.]
Everyone I have talked to about his Authority stuff didn't seem impressed, he has a habit of shoving his OCs into things at the expense of actual characters. Like Damien shoving over Tim. I don't like his Invisibles, I don't like his Batman stuff, I hated all those 666 comics. I do like the Joker redesign though. That was awesome. Plus, he's a douchebag anyway. [Sry the bitter is long.]

ARGH. GUYS WE'RE BETTER THAN MARVEL, STOP IT. Jason pretty much gets a free pass for anything considering I *finally* got my hands on a death in the family and bawled almost entirely through it. Damien is a just a little shit with- no, he's just a little shit.
Yeah, it's very if you want to write about your goddamn characters, start your own series stop mucking about with the established people. I've always gotten the impression that he's got the flavor of the douche about him, I just couldn't decide if it was regular writer arrogance or his own special perfume.

I KNOW! That is my thing! To mock Marvel readers, and I can't do it anymore. [Also I maybe read Young Avengers. shhhhh.] I read Red Hood, parts 1 and 2 and pretty much was licking the graphic novel.
I loved little Jay running around back then, all bad ass, tossing fuckers off the balcony, and smacking people down. He fucking smoked. He was stealing off the freaking Batmobile. love. so much love. Think clean thoughts chum. :D
It's his own special perfume. There is an article out there discussing Heath Ledger's diary when he was playing the Joker, and Morrison is talking about how he was chilled because he had written those words ie Ledger took some stuff from Arkham Asylum, [what a shock right?] and then Morrison was whining that no one wanted to read #663 which was totally a good story but he wrote it in a different format and I'm like, I HATE YOU.

It's funny you say that bc when I was in the comic store yesterday I was asking for his address so I could write to him, and the guys were like, don't bother, he's too high to read it.
