even if you try to stay home or go on a vacation to relax, something will be there to stress you out. like, you'll get soap in your eyes in the shower or wake up with a headache or not have enough money for the movies or turn off your alarm clock accidentally and show up late for work. you get the picture. that, however, is not to say that some weeks aren't far less stressful than others. you can put more time aside to relax, granted you aren't supposed to be at work or school or something. eh. it's tough.
Hmmmm... does a group of children from Discovery1 visiting the cattery count as stress? Probably...
A group of kids from my sons homebase visited Dogwatch last Thursday and would like to visit the Cats Protection League this Thursday afternoon if possible. One of the children is doing their enquiry on animal services and other children are very interested.
Do you think that's possible? I plan to suggest they bring some cat food to donate.
that would be cool last year i had a group of kids from discovery come for a visit it was so cute one little girl put up her hand and asked me "how old are cats when you shovel them?" the funny thing was we were standing right by our little cat cemetary and other children were looking at all the crosses and names as she asked that her mum piped up and said that she meant speyed because they had a young female kitten it was so funny and we didn't burst into fits and giggles until the kids had gone so as not to embarrass the little girl so now at the clinic we talk about shovelling cats in surgery quite often
thursday would be cool around 11am would be good after we have finished cleaning and hopefully before i get any public in how many kids would be in the group?
Thanks for the suggestion - the kids are super keen. I will email the other parents and see if that would work and how many kids etc. It won't be a huge number. My very loose guess is less than 20, maybe 10-15. I'll get back to you as soon as poss. Thanks!
Obviously, I didn't manage to sort anything out with Discovery1 as far as visiting your cattery went! Do you think later on a Thurday could work for you? 1pm is the only time this other parent can do it as she works in the am or something. Anyway she asked if this Thursday or Thursday 14th or any Thursday before term end really except the 7th, cos that's the SPCA visit. I hope that's not too awkward?
