This profile is very succinct. This makes it hard to wrangle any details beyond who your favorite characters are. So, let me think here.
...I think I've got it!
The character in question is a very hard worker and, in so far as I can gather, liked to drink after a successful case. They also kept at least one plant. They are very stubborn, creative enough to think outside of the box, is shown to be very good with children, is very observant and diligent... and, come to think of it, I think they may have had some problems with bills too despite their success.
I speak of none other than Mia FeyThough, let's go back and look at some other qualities here. Inattentive, art, lazy... also still liking work. Definitely stubborn, too. Can be easily distracted or shaken loose of information by being asked very indirectly. And I guess the kind of murder you mention would be the kind of thing he
