A like for pretty much everything makes me lean towards the younger characters, as they tend to be the most optimistic of the cast, usually finding something nice to say about most people and things... maybe not Cody, though, he's such a brat. >O
With animal abusers being one of your few dislikes, I thought of Mirika... but low self-esteem and thinking before you speak pretty much throws that out the window.
Penny Nichols seems to share your lack of confidence, while also being level-headed and generally pleasant. With all the detail you put into your favourite games/movies/manga, I think Penny may be suitable, though it also makes me think of the other two fangirls of the series...
Maya Fey shares your love of animals and movies. She's also a bit sensitive (although she recovers fast). And... the pose in your picture kinda made me think of her. :D?
Ema Skye also enjoys writing (notes >.>) and is a big fan of Edgeworth. Your mention of disliking those who are mean and merciless reminded me of Ema in Case 5, and how she must have felt hearing all the terrible things Jake and Angel had to say about Lana... not to mention seeing Lana being a bitch to everyone, too. :/
Additionally, all three of these characters are not easily angered, fair in judging people, about high-school age, and are not guilty.
