a day of rest...
Today really has been as the title indicates: a day of rest. I slept for 10 hours last night, fell asleep on the way to Bancroft this morning (we needed to replace part of our modem) and then had a two hour nap this afternoon. I can't believe how exhausted I was... I guess the weekend took more out of me than I thought. Even if it did though, it was worth it.
So yeah, Andrew and Nicole are now married and hopefully off enjoying some leisurely down time. The ceremony and reception were great. I was very impressed by the garments put together for the wedding party, especially Nicole's dress. The amount of work put in by the people who were sewing (you know who you are) was phenomenal. I don't think there are words enough to express the thanks that they all deserve.
The last week was definately an interesting experience. I'm happy that I got the chance to get to know Nicole's family because they're all great people. I kinda wish that that Nicole and Andrew would get married again next year so that I'd have an excuse to visit again. Though I hope that if I get the chance to meet up with them again, that we'll all be able to just sit back and relax next time. ;)
All in all, a good wedding. I look forward to seeing some of the pictures.
In other random news, I seem capable of catching lots and lots of fish. Too bad they were all too small to eat. Nothing over 1 pound. :/
