Concentrating on the little things
Been feeling like I should post something for days now, but the flu makes everything ten times harder than it needs to be. Little things start to fall by the way. This was one of them, so let me spend a little time focusing on little things again.
Went out to the Phoenix on Friday night, despite having decided to stay in. Will was making one of his rare appearances outside the wilds of Holder, so I went in to catch up, and because I had this feeling that if I did, certain people would be there. And as it turns out, she was, but more on that later (possibly in a different post...).
Caught up with Will. Not much to say about it. Just sat in the pub, drank Boag's, and talked. It was good.
On a spooky note, the pub was really quiet for a Friday night. There was still standing room by 10:30, an unprecedented event!
Hooked up with razorgirl_au & Will (he doesn't appear often, but he tends to hang around for a while) on Saturday. We were also supposed to be meeting Cam, but he was still waiting for a lift from one of his dependable band mates; two and a half hours after he was supposed to meet us, he finally made an appearance.
Anyway, we went to irishmark's 30th b'day party. He seemed happy. Party had it's good parts (girls dancing) and it's bad parts (certain guests talking), so eventually we went on to Anthony's going away, having gained the company of & Nemo.
Yes! Anthony is apparently finally getting around to pissing off to Melbourne! The bastard!
Blah! Running out of steam. Let me conclude with a note that fun was had, even with the sad nature of the second party.
