Warning! Rant!

The key is responsibility.

No matter what you believe - hardcore athiest or hardcore theist (mono- or poly-) or nihilism or anything inbetween (and yes, that does make a triangle) - If you fall back on your beliefs as a sop for responsibility, you deserve to find out whethe your beliefs are correct, express style.

Myself, I'm an animist. If you don't understand what that is, go Wiki it then leave me alone; its morning and I'm irritable.

Urban animist.

And I have the answer to all of the divisive religio-/politico-/skientifico- tards and their problems with each other. Of course, they're not going to like it. You may not like. I don't care, its the truth, and, to be honest with you, people not liking the idea appeala to me for any number of reasons.

All your beliefs right.

And so are everyone elses.

The universe is a big enough, perverse enough, ambivalent enough place, that there is enough room for all beliefs. Yes, God exist, at the same time that he doesn't. Yes, that's a paradox. What's your probelm with it, aside from perhaps not having the cognitive flexibility to get your tiny, tiny world view around it?

Paradox is the only possible way for the world to work. That's probably why so many people look for simple questions (they're not actually looking for answers), because they can't deal with a question that may have more than one viable answer.

And no, to finish, its not logical, its not reasonable. Both of these probably improve its chances of being true, rather than the opposite.

righteous anger, frustration, animism, stupid hobbitses, religion, fuckwits
